SNAP CAPS FOR TRAINING
While you’re not sending brass down our range, make sure to consider the various training benefits associated with dry-fire practice.
WHAT ARE SNAPCAPS?
These are designed to emulate the look and feel of standard ammo round without the bang at the end.
WHY USE SNAPCAPS?
To help reduce stress on the firing mechanism/firing pin of the firearm during dry fire training.
WHAT TYPE OF TRAINING?
To refine and perfect their skills, many shooters use snapcaps while they are practicing speed and tactical reloads.
FAILURE DRILLS
Another great option is train through failure to fire simulations such as stovepipes or double-feed stoppages.
